Pop Immigration ("Pop Immigration," "we," "us") is a product of Juke Brands LLC, 10935 Estate Lane, S395, Dallas, Texas 75238, United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you use popimmigration.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it to describe what the product actually does — not boilerplate.
One thing to understand first: preparing an immigration filing requires deeply personal information. We ask for it because the forms require it, we use it to do the work you bought, and you can export or permanently delete it at any time from your account settings.
Information we collect
Account information
- Name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored only as a bcrypt hash — we cannot read your password).
- Your plan tier, purchase amount, and access-expiration date.
Case intake information you provide
To pre-fill your USCIS forms, we collect the information those forms ask for. Depending on your case type, this can include:
- Identity details for you and family members in your case: full names, other names used, dates and places of birth, countries of birth and citizenship, gender, physical description.
- Government identifiers: Social Security numbers, Alien Registration Numbers (A-Numbers), USCIS online account numbers, passport numbers, I-94 numbers.
- Immigration history: current and prior status, manner and dates of entry, prior filings, removal-proceeding history.
- Personal history: addresses, employment, education, marriages, children, trips outside the United States.
- Sensitive screening answers the forms require, including criminal-history and security-related questions.
- Financial information for sponsorship forms: income, tax-filing history, assets, household size.
Documents you upload
Passports, birth and marriage certificates, tax returns, court records, photos, and other evidence you choose to upload. Documents are stored in a private Amazon S3 bucket (see "Security" below).
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe — we never receive or store full card numbers. We keep Stripe's customer and payment identifiers and the amount you paid.
Messages and usage information
- Messages you send through the platform.
- Security and audit logs (for example: logins, document uploads and deletions, account changes), which include IP addresses.
- Basic product analytics events, used to understand and improve the product.
- If you arrive through an affiliate link, our affiliate provider (PromoteKit) records the referral for commission attribution.
How we use your information
- To do the work you bought: pre-fill USCIS forms, build your document checklist, sequence your case roadmap, and flag document-quality problems before they become filing problems.
- To communicate with you: receipts, password resets, case notifications, and reminders (via SendGrid).
- To keep the platform secure: authentication, fraud and abuse prevention, and audit logging.
- To improve the product, using aggregate usage data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your case information for advertising.
How we use AI — specifically
Parts of the product are powered by Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic, through Anthropic's commercial API. We want to be precise about what that means:
- Document scanning. When you upload a document, we may send its content to the AI to check quality and completeness — for example, whether an image is legible, appears to be the requested document type, or may need a certified English translation. The result is a flag or suggestion shown to you.
- Relationship-evidence analysis. For marriage-based cases on certain plans, the AI helps assess how complete your relationship evidence looks and suggests what might strengthen it.
- Mock-interview practice. If you use interview practice, your practice conversation is processed by the AI to generate questions and feedback.
What the AI is not used for: it does not decide your eligibility for any immigration benefit, it does not make legal determinations about your case, and its output is not legal advice. It is a quality-checking and practice aid. Content sent to Anthropic is processed under Anthropic's commercial API data terms (anthropic.com/legal/commercial-terms). Pre-screening assessments in our intake flow are deliberately rule-based, not AI-based.
Who we share information with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services (S3) — encrypted document storage.
- SendGrid — transactional email delivery.
- Anthropic — AI processing described above.
- Juke Lingo — if you choose to use translation or passport-photo services, we link you to Juke Lingo with the document type prefilled. Disclosure: Juke Lingo is a sister company of Pop Immigration (both are Juke Brands LLC products). You are never required to use it — USCIS accepts any qualified certified translation.
- PromoteKit — affiliate referral attribution on checkout.
- Hosting infrastructure — our application and database run on Railway; our web frontends are served by Vercel.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
Your data: export, deletion, and retention
- Export. Settings → "Download my data" gives you a complete JSON export: your account details, every case's intake answers, document checklists, forms list, roadmap progress, and document records.
- Deletion. Settings → "Delete account" permanently deletes your account, your cases, intake answers, checklists, messages, milestones, form drafts, and uploaded documents, including removal of the stored document files. Deletion requires your password and an explicit confirmation, because it also deletes evidence you may not have copies of elsewhere — export first.
- Access expiration. Plans include a defined access period (currently 18 months for Guided, 24 months for Navigator and Protected). When access expires, paid features end. You can export or delete your data at any time before then.
- Retention after expiration. To protect your privacy, Pop Immigration automatically and permanently purges all case files, questionnaire answers, and drafted documents 180 days after your access period expires, unless a legal hold applies or you request deletion sooner.
Security
A plain-language summary of controls we actually run (our engineering security overview is the source of truth):
- Passwords hashed with bcrypt; sessions carried in httpOnly cookies that JavaScript cannot read; sessions are revocable immediately.
- Account lockout after repeated failed logins; rate limiting on authentication and across the API.
- Documents in a private S3 bucket (public access blocked, server-side encryption enabled), accessed only through short-lived, ownership-checked signed URLs.
- Encrypted connections in transit — to the site and to our database.
- Role- and ownership-checks on every data route; audit logging of significant actions.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Children
Pop Immigration accounts are for adults (18+). Immigration cases often require information about children — for example, a child beneficiary or dependents listed on a form. That information is provided by the adult account holder and is used only to prepare the filing.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product before the change takes effect.
